Christmas update from Cohen Quadrangle

We caught up with Gez Wells, Deputy Bursar, on the progress of Cohen Quad as 2014 draws to a close. He tells us that the enabling works contract is now complete! All of the buildings due for demolition have been removed from the site and only the two 1913 brick facades remain. During October and November 2014 the foundations for the new building were installed and the sub-station was powered up. When we return from the Christmas festivities we will begin the mass excavation of earth and pouring of the basement slab.

Here’s to a busy and productive 2015!

Floreat Exon and happy holidays to all.

Professional photographs of Cohen Quad’s progress

Exeter is delighted that Jericho resident Fran Monks, a professional photographer, has agreed to take weekly photos of Cohen Quad throughout its construction. Each week we receive a beautiful selection of photographs which is carefully stored in our archive. Several of the photographs are below and we look forward to publishing many more on this blog over the coming months.
